It’s that time of year – the transition from summer vacation to the rigors of back-to-school time. In middle and high schools across Florida, teens are packing up their backpacks and preparing for study sessions, pop quizzes and homework as part of the 2009-2010 school year. With the national health care reform debate dominating the news, and a focus on preventive health care – there is no greater time to start the conversation about the urgent need to ensure that our teens have all the information that they need to stay healthy and safe.
