Title: Public Affairs Intern
Hours: 15-20 hours per week

The Florida Association of Planned Parenthood Affiliates (FAPPA) is the state public policy office representing Florida’s seven Planned Parenthood affiliates. FAPPA works to advance public policy in areas of reproductive health care, family planning and medically-accurate sex education in order to make comprehensive reproductive health care available to all.
Responsibilities: The Public Affairs intern will help identify, educate, and mobilize our activists. Our intern will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including event planning for Lobby Days, pharmacist refusals work, sex education organizing, and on and off-line youth outreach.
Eduction: High School or College
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Typing skills and knowledge of Windows operating computer systems, Word, Excel, e-mail, and other necessary programs. Political/non-profit experience preferred but not required. Intern must share the values of Planned Parenthood.
