Qualification/Registration Requirements
To qualify and become a registered voter in Florida, you must:
Be a citizen of the United States of America.
Be a Florida resident.
Be 18 years old (you may pre-register if you are 17 or if you have been issued a driver’s license before your 17th birthday.
Not be or have been adjudicated mentally incapacitated with respect to voting unless you have had your voting rights subsequently restored.
Not be or have been convicted of a felony unless your civil rights have been subsequently restored.
Register in accordance with the requirements of the Florida Election Code.
